MEET THOMAS
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Thomas Fix, and I am a lifelong resident of Eastchester, New York.
I'm asking for your support in my run for the New York State Senate 37th District.
I have a degree in Business from Iona University & for over 30 years I was a co-owner of our family business, Cornell’s True Value Hardware in Eastchester.
Twenty years ago, I met the love of my life, Megan. Together we have two beautiful children, Amelia, 18, and TJ, 16. For the past 14 years, I have served on the Eastchester Traffic & Parking Advisory Committee. Before purchasing our home in the Leewood area of Eastchester, I served on the Board of Directors of Interlaken Owners, a cooperative apartment community of 525 apartments. In their pre-teen years I actively participated in coaching my children’s sports teams. My family & I are parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe.
In recent years, I have become increasingly concerned with the rise in violent crime; lack of support for local law enforcement; excessive government spending leading to increased inflation; and government overreach in our schools and local government.
One-party rule in Albany is not the answer, so I'm asking for your support in my run for New York State Senate in the 37th District.
